Are there mileage restrictions?
When renting a car for a period of more than 4 days and driving within the territory of Lithuania, mileage restrictions do not apply. In other cases, they are subject to agreement. For trips abroad, rental prices are calculated individually depending on the car model, destination of the trip, and duration.
Is a credit card required to rent a car?
A credit card is not required to reserve and rent a car from Vivarent. You will only pay for the car rental when you arrive to pick up the car. No advance reservation fee is charged when making an online reservation.
Can other persons drive the rented car?
Other persons can drive the rented car from Vivarent without an additional fee, but they must be included in the rental agreement.
Are all taxes and insurance included in the rental price?
The rental price includes: rental fee, insurance (liability and comprehensive), and airport delivery fees during business hours. Additionally, a nighttime surcharge of 20Eur is applied from 00:00 to 06:00. There are no hidden fees. No additional payment is required for insurance.
What to do if the flight is delayed?
Your reserved car will wait for you even if your flight is delayed. Employees at Vivarent offices in Kaunas and Vilnius airports constantly monitor flight information about landing times and will wait for you if there is a delay. To facilitate the car rental process, please provide the flight number when making an online reservation. If you haven't done so, you can provide this information later by phone or email.
What to do if I can't return the car on time?
If unforeseen circumstances occur and you can't return the car at the specified time in the contract, inform the Vivarent car rental office as soon as possible by phone at +37060934420 or +37060934470. We offer a 2-hour tolerance for our customers, and if notified in advance, no additional fees will be applied.
